Applies to: the Hanzi Practice web app at hanzipractice.app and the Hanzi Practice apps for Android and iOS (the "App"), provided by Space Cats Studios ("we", "us").

Hanzi Practice is a Chinese vocabulary and handwriting practice tool. It works offline and stores your progress on your device. We do not provide accounts, and we cannot recover progress that is deleted from your device. Use the in-app export to keep a backup.
The free version includes HSK 1 vocabulary, stroke animation and tracing, a limited daily writing quiz, a limited free-write history, daily goal and basic stats. Premium unlocks the remaining HSK levels, unlimited writing quiz, unlimited free-write history and full stats. The exact features are listed on the Premium screen in the App at the time of purchase.
You may use the App for personal, non-commercial study. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the App or its bundled data except as permitted by the open licenses below.
Those licenses govern that data. Everything else in the App is ours.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it is error-free or that any learning outcome will result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the consumer law of your country.
We may update the App or these Terms. Material changes will be posted at hanzipractice.app/terms.html with a new effective date; continued use after that date means you accept the change. We may discontinue the App with reasonable notice; paid Lifetime users will keep access for as long as the App is distributed.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise.
